WHO I AM

I am a degree qualified Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc NutDMed) and a mother of two young girls, Georgie (2.5 years old) and Matilda (14 months old). I specialise in Paediatric Nutrition from infancy through to primary school aged children, as well as Women’s Health, Perinatal and Postpartum Nutrition.

Having two pregnancies in quick succession (Georgie was 7 months old when I fell pregnant again!) really showed me how important postpartum nutrition and replenishment is. After suffering with bouts of anxiety and depression throughout my second pregnancy, along with severe nausea, hayfever and insomnia, it’s only in hindsight I can see how much I undervalued the toll that pregnancy and motherhood had taken on me. This first-hand experience in pregnancy and postpartum repletion has given me a passion to support other women throughout their pregnancy journeys and beyond.

Feeding my two young girls certainly comes along with it’s own challenges at times, from fussy eating to navigating suspected food sensitivities and intolerances. I cannot count the amount of times I have thought how grateful I am for the nutrition knowledge I have to support my kids in this phase of life with such rapid growth and development - which is why I am so passionate about sharing this with others.

Living in Brisbane with my Northern Irish husband Richie, my two girls and our gorgeous, massive Rottweiler X Dalmatian, Stevie, allows us to live an active lifestyle outdoors - you’ll usually find me at hot yoga, boot camps or going for walks listening to podcasts. On the weekends we love taking our caravan away, getting into nature and spending time as a family.
